Job Overview:Â
We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Augusta, Maine.Â
As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.Â
Â
Requirements:Â
- An active BHP Certification is NOTÂ required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.Â
- 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)Â
- Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychologyÂ
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationÂ
- Clean driving record and background checkÂ
- Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registrationÂ
- Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalentÂ
Job Details:Â Â
- Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.Â
- Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.Â
- Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.Â
- Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.Â
