We currently are hiring experienced Daily Living Support (DLS) Coordinators. The DLS Coordinator will oversee client services in the DLS Program in Lewiston and surrounding geographical areas to be determined by Program Manager.

Job Overview:
As a DLS Coordinator you will supervise and direct DLS staff providing services to assigned clients. DLS coordinators ensure that all assigned DLS staff carry a case load that will provide DLS support, advocacy, and community resources to each client. Additionally, they assist in providing assessment and referrals as needed in each individual client case. MAS Community Health is looking for a coordinator who maintains a MHRT -C certification and has the ability to carry a caseload if needed and determined by Program Manager. This role takes a special kind of person who is patient, trusting, communicative, and innovative.

Job Details: 
  • The Section 17 DLS program provides services to individuals who are recipients of mental health services and their families as outlined in the Maine Care Benefits Manual and in accordance with governmental laws, regulations and company policy and procedures.
  • The DLS Coordinator will oversee client services in the DLS Program by providing supervision and individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
  • Safely transporting the clientele within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
  • Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as session notes and treatment plans. Training is available.

Requirements:
  • Proof of COVID vaccination 
  • MHRT-C
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as in your own vehicle.
  • Active motor vehicle insurance & registration 
  • Experience providing case management and social services to members of the mental health and developmental disability communities.
  • MUST be willing to travel up to 45 miles.
UPDATED RATES: We are pleased to announce that MAS Community Health will be increasing our current rate of pay to $25.00 per hour for all billable client contact hours.  Our current administrative rate of $18.00 will remain the same for unbillable hours.
